MINUTES OF THE SUNDAY, APRIL 27TH, 2014 MEETING OF WHEATLAND SAMS HELD AT THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN TISDALE AT 2:00 P.M.


President Norma Seabrook welcomed everyone to the meeting as well as guests who joined us for the afternoon.

PRESENT:

There were 34 people present.

GOOD SAM CLUB PLEDGE:

The Good Sam Pledge was read together.

      TREASURER’S REPORT:

      Treasurer Norma Halladay presented her Report showing a Bank Balance of $4075.92.

            Historian Supplies -$68.00
            Kitchen Supplies - $21.95. Seconded by Francis Grisdale CARRIED

            th Anniversary invitation from Norma and Jerry Seabrook on August 1st was read.

            BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:
            WHITE SHIRTS:

            Norm Munz reported that the cost to order at Humboldt would be $30.20 per shirt.
            Jim Brady reported that the cost to order at Melfort would be $28.38 per shirt and to order through Lucas Embroidery at Tisdale would be $27.50 per shirt.

                REPORTS:

                PROVINCIAL:

                Provincial Director Jim Brady reported that there are 150 registrations to date. Wheatland has the second highest number of registrants. There are tours planned. The Ladies’ Social will have a “Breast Of Friends” speaker. JJ Guy will entertain Friday. Country Blend will entertain Saturday.

                WAGON MASTERS:

                Norm Munz reported that there are approximately 7 rigs going to Prince Albert.

                Vance & Ilene Mathison reported that the Deschambealt trip is questionable.

                Jim Brady reported that they are still working on the Batoche campout.

                Bob Hay reported that he is working on the Rosthern campout.

                SUNSHINE REPORT:

                Everyone in attendance signed a card to be sent to Franklin Marsh.


                NEXT MEETING DATE AND SITE:

                The next meeting will be held at the Foam Lake Samboree.

                NEXT MEETING HOSTESSES:

                Cecilia Strueby and Norma Halladay will be the next meeting hostesses.

                BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES:

                The Birthdays and Anniversaries for March and April were celebrated with pictures and cakes.

                50/50 DRAW:

                The 50/50 draw in the amount of $21.00 was won by Jim Brady,
