The pupils of Eastman School participated in annual school events such as sports days, ball tournaments, and drama festivals. They won their share of awards and trophies.
Eastman School was closed on June 30th, 1957 and the students from the district were bussed to school in Tisdale. Eileen Godson was the last teacher. The building was sold and moved away. All that remains is a plaque to designate the site of Eastman School #75.
